The NYC Department of Health is encouraging all New Yorkers who go out in public to wear some sort of face covering. Scarves, bandanas, or pieces of fabric are all viable options. The goal is to slow the rate of infection, so we can avoid overwhelming our healthcare system, which is already strained.
